Wand: 9-1/2", made of ash, not too flexible, with a hair from a unicorn's
mane.
Pet: I have a bad-tempered peregrine falcon named Aslan who has to stay
on the roof, because he's always picking fights with the school owls.
Quidditch position: I never played. But I've always liked to watch the
Beaters best.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Albus Dumbledore. (We go back a long way.)
Favorite Hogwarts student: I don't play favorites. Everyone is equal in
my class, until you prove yourself otherwise.
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: I know I shouldn't say this, but I don't
like the way Prof. Snape treats his students. However, just between us, the person
I dislike most in all the world is Lucius Malfoy.
Best subject: Care of Magical Creatures.
Worst subject: Arithmancy.
Birthday: November 24th
A little about me: I'm old enough to be a Hogwarts professor, and that's
enough about my age. My parents were both wizards, and I still live in the home
in which they raised me, a lovely keep in the South Downs, ensorcelled to look
like a haunted, mouldering old ruin to Muggle eyes (and, naturally, far off the
tourist track!). I've spent most of my life, however, traveling around the world
as a freelance consultant in the care and control of dragons. You may ask why,
then, I'm not teaching Care of Magical Creatures. In the first place, Hagrid is
doing such a... well, he's learning fast, anyway. In the second place, in the
course of my travels, I've gained a lot of experience in fighting dark wizards
~ they are everywhere, unfortunately. And in the third place, Hogwarts always
seems to be in need of a teacher of Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Albus asked
me to fill in as a personal favor.
If you're wondering what kind of student I was, when I was in your position,
I can tell you that I was brilliant. Except Arithmancy, everything magical came
easily to me. Even Potions ~ but then, in my day, Potions was taught by Prof.
Obendorfer, and it was fun. Prof. Snape doesn't seem to have quite grasped
the concept of fun. Since I rarely had to study much and got good grades anyway
(and, I admit, I was just a tad arrogant), you can imagine I wasn't a very popular
student, but I did make a few good friends to hang around with. Despite all
the ups and downs, I still look back on my time at Hogwarts as one of the best
times of my life, and I know you will, too. Eventually.
As for my credentials, you can see them on my office walls. But be careful
not to get too close to the pictures of the dragons. I've only got my favorites
framed there, but that's still a lot of them, and they will burn you if you
startle them.
Back to roll
Taulai Lepora
Wand: A nice, flexible piece with a narrow, tapered body turned from Manchurian
ginkgo. Within the core lies a single hair from an Irish Selkie, a creature whose
haunting song lures the unwary to a bitter fate, yet can lead the cautious to
knowledge and wisdom beyond their dreams.
Pet: Cyril is my big, silver hare. He can sniff out practitioners of the
Dark Arts at 100 meters, and will thump and bleat to warn me of the approach of
danger. (Not that he's much good at protecting me from it. I'm the one
who's supposed to protect him, if you ask Cyril.) Cyril is a big baby who
loves to cuddle and sleep on my pillow at night (he's so big that he usually ends
up hogging the pillow, and I get the hard mattress and a neck ache by morning),
and he'll do just about anything for a banana slice.
Quidditch position: I don't play, but I sure love to watch a good player
knock around those Bludgers!
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Alas, he's no longer working here. But Professor
Remus Lupin is my hero.
Favorite Hogwarts student: Although I'm a bit envious of her work ethic,
I can't help but idolize Hermione.
Best subject: Study and care of Magical Creatures, but I also love Herbology.
Worst subject: Potions. I'm a terrible cook! (Don't ask me about the time
I.....er...never mind!)
A little about me: I'm an international student from southern Siberia.
My mother is a Scottish witch (Hogwarts alumna, which is the only way I got into
Hogwarts, being a foreigner and all...), and my father is a Siberian halfblood
(Grandpapa was a wizard who did his studies at Glevnich, the Siberian wizarding
school; Grandmama was a muggle) with no magical power that he knows of, though
he's very supportive of my studies.
Papa has a ranch on the steppe just abutting the southern taiga, where he
raises Saiga antelope and reindeer to support the family. (If I ever have to
eat another poro sausage....). It's very beautiful back home, but a bit isolated
and lonely sometimes. I'm glad to be at Hogwarts where I can meet so many interesting
people. (Being a witch with British Isle heritage, I want to know why you Hogwarts
people celebrate Halloween, Christmas and Easter instead of Samhain, Yule and
Ostara. Where's your sense of tradition?)
Back to roll
Mariah Greenthorn
Wand: 7 inches long, ebony, Dragon Heartstring
Pet: I have a black cat with a white diamond on her forehead. Her name
is Isis.
Quidditch position: Well, when I was in Brushbriar I played Seeker, so
I'd have to say that's my favorite.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Dumbledore
Favorite Hogwarts student: I'm not sure about that one
Best subject: Potions- I was partners with Hermione Granger one day during
double Potions with Gryffindor, and we were working on Rubberizing Potions. To
test the effectiveness, we had to dip a wooden rod in it and then stretch the
rod as far as we could. Hermione and I had our potion so good that we stretched
the rod halfway across the room, to the cheers of our friends, before Snape said
we were disrupting the class and took off 5 points from each house.
Worst subject: Transfiguration- The teacher at Brishbriar was so mean,
I just sort of fazed out...
Birthday: April 28th
A little about me: I'm an American. My mother was a witch, and she died
when I was very young, so I was raised by my Muggle father. Up until my third
year of wizarding school, I was going to Brishbriar, an american school. But I
got transferred to Hogwarts for my exceptional grades. I made lots of friends,
including Cho Chang, the Ravenclaw Seeker.
Back to roll
Therèse Calleron
Wand: Seven inches. Hawthorne. Slightly flexible. One unicorn hair.
Pet: He's an ancient old cat named 'chat'. Why such a stupid name? Because
I was two when I named him. He's a grouchy old himalayan, with poofy (How else
do you describe a Himalayan's fur?) grey fur.
Quidditch position: Quidditch? No thank you... Although the Ravenclaw Keeper
is kind of cute... GO TEAM! ^_^
Favorite Hogwarts adult: None. Teachers... Bah.
Favorite Hogwarts student: Sirius Black. He's such a cool guy... But my
friend likes him too. She can have him, I'm sure she wants him more than me.
Best subject: Care of Magical Creatures
Worst subject: History... **Snoooooze**
Birthday: October 15
A little about me: I'm around five foot six, and overweight. My hair is
a medium-brown, slightly wavy, and falls to my shoulders. Its rather unruly, and
very very annoying. My eyes are a hazel-green, and I wear glasses.
I was born in France, as a muggle. I lived there until I was three; then my
parents (Who were still in college) moved to England for foreign study. They
found well paying jobs, and decided to stay. My father is an engineer, my mother
is a teacher at a muggle school. They aren't too fond of magic, they say it
breaks all the rules of science. I thought so too, for most of my first year
at Hogwarts. Then it started to make sense. Now I'm not sure I could live without
magic.
Overall, I'm a pretty bright student. And I know I am. The problem is, I don't
do my work very well because I hurry through it. I know I'll pass the test,
so why bother to study? I try to remain optimistic at all times, and sometimes
manage to get on my friends nerves. I also have an amazing tendancy to be extremely,
erm... Hyper.
Back to roll
Corvus Smythe
Wand: black willow, 14" with sphinx feather in the core.
Quidditch position: Um. I don't follow the game much.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: I don't really know yet...
Favorite Hogwarts student: I don't really know anyone..but I feel sorry
for that Neville kid.
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: Mrs. Norris. I don't like the way she
looks at me. I'm scared some day she's gonna catch me while I'm stuck transformed
and.. *Crunch GULP*
Best subject: Muggle studies, I guess. It's an easy A at least.
Worst subject: potions, I guess. The recipes are interesting but i noticed
Snape has a habit of singling out people to pick on and I'm worried he'll notice
me...
Birthday: October 24
A little about me: I'm new here this year... my mother and I move around
a lot, and we travel and live around muggles most of the time. I've been to wizarding
schools before, and normal ones for muggles, but we never stay anywhere long.
My mother always moves us somewhere else before i get used to anything.
My father was rumoured to be a deatheater, but he got turned in. I don't know
if my mother is scared he isn't really dead and will come back, or if she was
in league with him and is scared they'll catch her next, or if she just..flipped
out when they told her he'd been executed for his crimes. He left us pretty
well off though. Well enough to keep moving around. She doesn't have a lot to
do with me really. She doesn't seem to care much what I do, only what I don't
do. Like shapeshifting. I'm an animagus-registered, but you don't need to spread
it around. My mother forbids me to practice at all or fly, but it just kinda
happens on accident when I get scared. Some kid corners me to pick on 'the new
kid' and the next minute *poof* I'm a stupid crow. I wish I could turn into
a raven at least... they're prophetic and powerful, but I just turn into a crow.
I think my mother thinks it's a bad sign or something, and she complains I look
too much like my father. I don't even remember him. I don't remember anything
but moving around since forever. Mebbe someday it'll be different. I hope.
Back to roll
An Chin
Wand: My wand? It's twelve inches long and made of rosewood, with a core
of K'i-lin hairs. It's very light and sturdy, but inflexible.
Pet: Bai Shông is a male snowy owl who's rather pompous and dignified.
While he acts aloof and distant, maybe even a bit snobby, he's actually quite
friendly and even playful around people he's familiar with. He loves to eat.
Quidditch position: I'm no athlete, so sports don't really interest me.
I watch Quidditch with my friends sometimes, but I don't have a favorite position.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: James Potter timeline: Dumbledore. He's such a
nut, I can't help but like him. ^_^ Harry Potter timeline: I idolize
Professor Lupin somewhat.
Favorite Hogwarts student: My friends, of course! But also James Potter
timeline: Remus Lupin. Don't tell anyone I said that, of course. Harry
Potter timeline: Hermione Granger. She's so smart! I wonder why she wasn't
chosen for Ravenclaw?
Best subject: I'm good at almost all the subjects, though I'm probably
best at Transfiguration and Charms.
Worst subject: Definitely Arithmancy, though I'm not too hot at History,
either.
Birthday: September 12
A little about me: Well, there's not that much more to say about me after
everything else. I enjoy solitude in which I can read, write, draw, and simply
think. People like to call me a "loner" because of this, but I do have friends.
They're few, but very close. My mother is a Muggle and my father is a wizard.
I used to live in America, but then my parents divorced and my father decided
to move here to Britain. He took me with him, so I ended up transferring to Hogwarts
before my fourth year. Now I'm a fifth year, and I guess I've adjusted okay. I
feel a little out of place sometimes, but other than that. . . I like it here.
Back to roll
Teja Fu (Nickname: Deja Vu)
Wand: 9 inches teak, with a dragon whisker as its core
Pet: None, I'm allergic to all creatures great and small.
Quidditch position: Never liked the game much. Just seven grown men bashing
balls around a field.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Professor Lupin
Favorite Hogwarts student: Hermione from Gryffindor. I sit next to her
sometimes in arithmancy and she's really approachable.
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: Crabbe, the brainless halfwit lout.
Best subject: Arithmancy
Worst subject: Divination...urrgh and Care for Magical Creatures
Birthday: 29th February
A little about me: Teja is a sanskrit name that means radiant or something.
My parents thought it would be a big laugh to make my name sound like a weird
feeling like you've seen something happen before it does. Weird.
I come from a muggle family; my dad was the Chinese ambassador to India (now
a diplomat to England) and my mum was an English language lecturer and is half
Indian, half Zambian and she does have some Avatar blood from way way way back.
They met while studying in Oxford, got married, moved back to India when my
father was posted there and I was born in New Delhi. When I was five we migrated
to London where I attended the International School (for muggles) and I realized
that I had the third eye; like my nickname I could see things before they happened
to people. However it only gets triggered by adrenaline surges and I can only
see the futures of those I am close to.
So that's how I got to Hogwarts. Ironically my worst subject is Divination;
I can't adapt to Prof. Trelawney's (sp?) style of teaching the subject. It never
works for me.
And because of my allergies I can never enjoy a single Care for Magical Creatures
lesson...sigggghhh
Back to roll
Tyne Anderson
Wand: Fourteen inches, made of bubinga, or African rosewood, with a nundu
whisker core.
Pet: My pet caracal, Paka - Kiswahili for "cat". She has a beautiful light
copper coat with a sandy underbelly. She has long black ears with cool little
tufts on the ends, and a black nose and tear marks. I've bewitched her pupils
to be emerald green. She can be moody, 'cause she IS a wild animal, after all.
But if she runs crazily around the common room enough times, she'll calm down.
;-) She's a great guardian, and quite fiercely loyal to me - it's almost scary.
The only problem she posed when coming to Hogwarts is feeding - she refuses to
eat processed food from a tin like domestic cats. Professor Flitwick set me up
with Hagrid, though - he provides feeder animals of all kinds to the magical creatures
under his care. So Paka now has a steady diet of prekilled poultry, rabbits, and,
occasionally, a young lamb. Messy business, it is, especially with the lambs,
but the variety keeps her from going nutty with stagnancy. Other than that, she
uses the litterbox like the other cats in Ravenclaw, much to their chagrin. I
mean, how would YOU like it if someone three times your size pushed you out of
the toilet? ;-)
Quidditch position: Hmmm, prolly Chaser. The three girls for Gryffindor
are spectacular. Of course the Seeker is wonderful, too. ;-) Though I may appear
so, I actually don't follow Quidditch much outside the school games. I'm usually
busy traveling with my Muggle father in my freetime, so I'm just too removed to
really get into it.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: The latter Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers
have been very good, though always with some negligible flaw. Who cares if Lupin
is a werewolf? He's a very good teacher - doesn't that count for anything? Darn
predjudices even within the wizarding world! Ugh! Moody is supposed to be like
what Crouch depicts him, or he would have been found out. -_- Anyways, my fav,
um, PERMANENT adult (I hope) is Albus Dumbledore. I have a heavy feeling that
that man knows way more than he lets on, but will let things play out anyways.
He's just so good and easy-going - I love him! :-)
Favorite Hogwarts student: Corvus Smythe!! Hehe... even though he doesn't
know me at all, it's interesting to figure HIM out. He has a troubled, mysterious
aura about him that's fun for insightful me to pry through. ^_^
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: Ugh... Jessica Ravenwood. She's just
too full of herself. She doesn't vocally brag, per se, but her pompous attitude
is really annoying. Those in the know say her mother was like that - must run
in the family. ;-) And, of course, Draco Malfoy is quite evil. He should have
gotten in trouble dozens of times, but somehow mysteriously avoids punishment.
I mean, shouting out vocal support for the Dark Lord AND the insult Mudbloods
in the same sentence doesn't get serious consequences for him? The system doesn't
work, says I. >:P
Best subject: Charms. Flitwick's somewhat of a softy for his house. ;-)
Worst subject: Divination. It's not that the answers don't come out of
a book, but the craft of divination as a whole is too hazy. It's an odd and far-fetched
branch of magic, and really, a thousand things could be interpreted from that
little pile of tea leaves on the bottom of that cup - it's all too personal. Not
having a SURE answer, in general, is what bugs me. :-P
Birthday: May 8th
A little about me: I'm a halfblood witch in the same year as the famous
Harry Potter. My mother is a quiet, pure Irish witch who prefers to stay within
her native country, tending our small flock of Galways with our three crups, and
our 7 head of beautiful Connemara ponies, with the help of our wonderful yet highly
timid porlock, Tess. We also have two kneazles, making it a complete almost-but-not-quite
family of pets; they're almost like Muggle pets, but not quite. ;-)
My father, on the other hand, is a highly adventurous Muggle of various Scandinavian
heritage, and how he met and married my mother is still a mystery to me. ;-)
I've travelled a good deal with him to mostly southern hemisphere locales -
Africa, Australia, South America. That's how I got Paka and my wand. On our
various travels through Africa, my dad, on the spur of a moment, got me a little
female caracal cub for my birthday. We've had a heck of a time with care and
training and customs since. ;-)
That August before my first year my parents and I were on a magical safari
trip in Kenya on an unplottable preserve (my mum agreed to come along since
it was relating to magical beasts), handling runespoors, observing tebos, erumpents,
and, from a great distance, a nundu, when a scops owl dropped an invite to Hogwarts
in our jeep. My mother wanted to prepare a.s.a.p., so we went to an African
wizarding strip of shops, one of which was Fimboa Kaimah, or Wands of Kaimah.
Kaimah was a petite African witch from a long line of voodoo artisans. She spent
most of her life studying "cleaner" magic - enough to make high quality African
wands and open her own shop. As I tried them out, though, it clear enough that
some of these wands were a bit dodgy, still having traces of voodoo magic in
them, I suppose.
Then Kaimah took out a spectacular specimen - made of beautiful bubinga wood,
a reddish lavender colour with dark purple and red banding. I'd seen bubinga
made for Muggle tool handles and such before. Then she said this wand was made
with a nundu whisker at the core. My parents were shocked - not only are nundus
arguably the most dangerous magical beasts in the world, but to collect body
parts from them was sheer madness. Kaimah reassured them that any rare nundu
pieces she possessed were from the famous Nairobi nundu of 1920. Numerous fatalities
had occurred because of this nundu and its breath lurking on the outskirts of
Nairobi. A massive undertaking of wizard power then happened to control the
beast before it attacked the city. 147 wizards and witches from the African
Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures could not budge
the beast to leave the area, so using a large amount of various fatal hexes
and curses, they killed the beast and performed Memory Charms on many citizens
of Nairobi.
Kaimah's mother, a very prominent voodoo priestess of the area, persuaded
the Department to, for a hefty fee, let her take a small amount of body parts
from the nundu before it was confiscated away. The nundu may be highly dangerous,
but it possessed unbelievable magical properties that were the envy of many,
especially African, wizards. It was one of these coveted whiskers that was in
the wand Kaimah showed me. I took hold of it and it reacted wildly - clearly
this controversial wand was the one for me.
So it is until now - I use my wonderful wand for almost everything in Hogwarts
- even if I feel too lazy to pick up that book two feet away on my bedstand.
;-) I leave Hogwarts every year during vacations to go cavorting around the
world with my dad, who is just fine with the idea that his wife and daughter
are witches. If I’m not slaving away at homework, I’m reading, writing, sketching,
playing with Paka, flying my Firebolt around the grounds (my father insists
on having the best in wizard transportation for his girl - he knows Muggle transport
well enough), or telling stories of the Muggle world to a rapt audience in the
Ravenclaw common room. I spend enough time with my dad that I feel more like
a Muggle, but am perfectly at home with the witch existence. ;-)

Riven Dacryph
Wand: 10 inches, hazelwood, and three siren scales.
Pet: A red fox called Spike. He and I have a mental bond, so I share all
that he experiences.
Quidditch position: I'm... not exactly the sporting type.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Professor Remus J. Lupin!
Favorite Hogwarts student: I don't have many friends, especially those
of the student type. There is one little fellow -- a first-year whose name, he
tells me, is Juice. I don't believe him, but he won't tell me otherwise.
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: Professor Trelawney. I don't believe
she's a very good teacher, and she doesn't seem to like me much. Oh well.
Best subject: Potions. It's lots of fun. I suppose I can see why everybody
hates Professor Snape, but I find him a perfectly decent fellow... as long as
you don't act up.
Worst subject: Divination. As if the future was anything I had to worry
about.
Birthday: February 25th.
A little about me: I was born in London. My parents weren't wizards per
se... but they knew magic. I know magic too -- my very own kind. But that's my
secret. I'm in my final year at Hogwatrs. I don't really want to leave, though.
The shelter of Hogwarts is my safe place... away from London, away from the night
life. But that's my secret. Mostly, I like being away from muggles. The magicians
and enchanted beings at Hogwarts may not understand me... but at least they accept
me. Sometimes. Moreso than any muggle would dare to. I suppose it's all the better
for them... but for me? Ah, I have my secrets.
Back to roll
Iziba Hellion Leo
Wand: Ebony, 10" phenox feather
Pet: Athena, my pet falcon, she dose carry my mail for me, she is very smart but sometimes will have a little trouble finding obscure people but she is very fast on deliverys
Quidditch position: seeker
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Proffeser mcgonagal(sp?)
Favorite Hogwarts student: I don't know prob. Hermoine
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: Goyle
Best subject: Care of Magicle creatures,Charms, herbology, transfiguration(sp?)
Worst subject: history of Magic
Birthday: Jan, 26
A little about me: I'm 5'5", long wavey red hair "stormy" blue-grey eyes
but they have been known to change if I get excited, sometimes they can go anywhere
from green to purple. I am "out-doorsy" and love animals. I do my work, and tend
to have alot of freinds. Not much else to say
Back to roll
Molly Featherstone
Wand: It's about six inches long, polished, dark purple, with a strand of fur from a strand of hair from a griffin's mane inside it. It's a helpful wand, but a bit clumsy, tends to aim to the left, and fights me a bit when I try to do a harmful spell rather than a nice one. It's said that it's former owner was a kindly old witch who ran the wizarding Day-Care program.
Pet: I have a large, fluffy, mean black tomcat named Rumour. He is 15 years old, yet still just as vicious and bad-tempered as the day he was born. But to me, he's just an old softie.
Quidditch position: I'm a player, but typically the one who gets picked LAST for games, or even practice. I really suck at it. I TRY, but I have this tendency to flip over and fly upside-down, or get my robes caught on something while taking off, or fall straight off the broom from way up--you have NO idea how many times I've been to the hospital wing already...I'm a born clutz.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Probably Professor McGonagle.
Favorite Hogwarts student: Hermione Granger. She doesn't laugh at me for being clumsy, and she's always willing to help me cram for a test.
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: DRACO MALFOY!! Then again, I gather I'm not alone in that...
Best subject: Transfigurations. I'm actually pretty good at that. Now, if I could only get the wand to aim at the RIGHT object to turn into something else...There was quite a riot last week when I turned Longbottom into a desk, instead of my desk into a toad.
Worst subject: Care of Magical Creatures. Ugh! I'm scared of those things! I always think they'll take my bloody head off at any moment... Birthday: October 15
A little about me: Well. I'm Molly Gwendolyn Featherstone the III, a witch,
second year. My family is part wizard and part muggle, and has been for generations.
Generally ONE kid out of each generation has magic and the others do not. I've
got seven brothers, they are all Muggles and I'm the only Witch in the family,
besides my mother. It's a big family, we usually have several kids in each generation.
I was born in Swansea, Wales, but raised in London, and I'm basically working/middle
class, not real poor, not rich though either. We're not a well-known family, we
Featherstones, but we ARE...notorious. Anywhere magical people are doing incredibly
silly and clumsy magical blunders, there might be a Featherstone. Or a Longbottom.
Our families are old friends, we are. I inherited my familiar from my mother,
I don't like him very much, he's a mean old cat--but he doesn't bite ME, just....everyone
else. As for my classes, I like the ones that involve a lot of sitting still and
reading, because that means I don't have to do physical stuff, which means I won't
break anything. I think. I'm not terribly GOOD at reading-type study, you understand,
it just doesn't...scare me.
I don't think I'm going to do very good at Hogwarts; I barely passed my first
year and I really hope they don't kick me out or anything. I am hopeless at Quidditch;
I want to be able to play but it seems I'll never be able to. I'm a Featherstone.
It's a foregone conclusion I'd be clumsy.
I don't stare at Harry Potter 'cos I know he hates being treated like he's famous,
I basically just leave him alone. Draco Malfoy--I hope he falls in a pit and DIES,
very soon! Same for his lackeys. I'm pretty good at transfigurations, in fact,
at any subject that involves memorisation and such, my _brain_ is fine, just my
body needs work...I HATE Divination, but I can usually make up good enough predictions
to fool Madame Trelawney, and as for potions...urgh. I just hope we learn how
to make a _healing_ potion soon. I could use one for after Quidditch practice.
I don't know what I'll do after I graduate from Hogwart's--IF I graduate. I'm
not much of a witch, but on the other hand, a witch is all I know how to be.

Tina Thompson ~
Wand: 15 inches, willow, whippy, good for charms, hippogriff feather
Pet: A cat named Cornelius, Corny for short. He likes to change colors
from orange to blue, and is very friendly.
Quidditch position: I like to play Quidditch, and am usually found playing as a
beater.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Professor Lupin for the teacher, but Sir Cadogan as an adult;
portraits count, don't they?
Favorite Hogwarts student: Oliver Wood
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: Pansy Parkinson
Best subject: Charms, but I also find History of Magic absolutely
riveting (not the class itself; I do research on my own)
Worst subject: Potions
Birthday: October 30
A little about me: I'm quite friendly, and I like to play with my pet cat Corny
and hang out with my friends Mindy Jameson, Alice Kane, and Oliver
Wood. We graduate in the 3rd year that Harry Potter goes to Hogwarts, but
it is my understanding that once a Hogwarts student, always a Hogwarts
student.

Ugh, do I have to? All right, Wilfred
Clive Shrike. Horrible, isn't it? But everyone calls me Freddy.
~
Wand: Hawthorn and Phoenix Feather, 9 1/2"
Pet: Not yet.
Quidditch position: Beater, only because that's what Kevin plays. I never
liked Quidditch much until he made the team.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Professor Sprout. She says I'm one of her very best
students, and she's going to give me a good reference to do advanced Herbology
studies after Hogwarts.
Favorite Hogwarts student: Kevin Grahame. He is the most brilliant, talented Wizard in
the whole school, and he is completely modest about it (you should see
him blushing right now). He's warm and kind and funny and brave and
the best person I've ever known.
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: My brother, who is generally speaking my least favorite
person on the face of the Earth. I'm not overly keen on Bludger-head
Bagman, either.
Best subject: Herbology.
Worst subject: Probably transfiguration. I've never been good at the
subjects that require real talent.
Birthday: 14 February, 1956
A little about me: I'm small and thin, with blond hair and blue eyes. I'm from
an old, pureblood family, and I never knew anything about Muggles, or
people from Muggle families, until I met Kevin. My father works in
Magical Law Enforcement at the Ministry, and my Mother is a Wizarding
Physician at St. Mungo's Hospital. I like reading. Ambrose Armstrong is my
favorite, he's a popular Wizard adventure novel hero. Kevin let me
read David Copperfield, too, and I liked it. It's a Muggle book. Oh, and
he taught me a Muggle song, called "I'm Henery the Eighth I Am," by his
favorite Muggle band, Herman's Hermits. Jane hates it; we've had far
too much fun annoying her with it. After Hogwarts, I want to get into
the internship program at the Arbuthnott Conservatory, the big Wizarding
Botanical Gardens northwest of London. I'm going to be a Herbologist.

Kevin Laurence Grahame ~
Wand: Oak and Unicorn Hair, 9", "a bit thicker than most," according
to Professor Flitwick
Pet: A fat brown rat named Wilkins, after Mr. Micawber in my favorite
book, David Copperfield. I really wanted an owl, but my mother said
no. Someday I'm going to get an owl, though, and name her Aunt Betsey
Trotwood.
Quidditch position: I play Beater for Ravenclaw, so I'd better say that.
Flying is great! I've taken a few bludgers in the ribs, but no major damage
- yet.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Can I say the Grey Lady? She's our house ghost. I think
ghosts are really fascinating, and she'll actually sit and talk to me. I
tried to talk to Nearly Headless Nick a few times, but he's not all
that friendly. Irene Lupin lent me a book called "Great Galloping Ghosts,
Spectres who Ride by Night." It was great, really spooky.
Favorite Hogwarts student: Freddy Shrike. He's my best friend, and he's, well, gosh,
he's amazing. He's brilliant and funny and nice, and... Ha ha, I'm
making him blush. He really is incredible.
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: Freddy's brother, Theo. He's awful, he's always picking on
Freddy. He's a big git. I hear even his own Quidditch team doesn't
like him much. (At least, that's what Jane Tweedy says Ludo Bagman told
her.)
Best subject: Probably charms, and transfiguration. I'm pretty good at
the wand-waving stuff.
Worst subject: Herbology! All those mushrooms look alike to me.
Luckily, Freddy's a genius at it, and he always helps me through. What did
I tell you, he's really the greatest!
Birthday: 7 December, 1955
A little about me: I'm from Bristol. Muggle born, but my Gran was married to a
Wizard, and that's where I got it from. Gran is my Dad's mother, she's
the best. My own Mum thinks I'm sort of weird. And not just because
of the Wizard thing. I'm sort of short - well, medium, I guess - and
stocky, and I have short, dark hair and glasses. I'm blind as a bat
without my glasses. Gran and Freddy say I have lovely eyes. They're
brown, and Gran says they're just like my Grandad's. I like reading, and
writing stories; I'd really like to be an author someday.

Irene Atalanta Lupin ~
Wand: Juniper and Dragon Heartstring, 9 3/4", very resilient. I was
surprised to get Dragon Heartstring, but my father says I have
"tenacity," so it must be appropriate.
Pet: A barn owl named Copernicus. I found him in the woods with an
injured wing, and nursed him back to health. I have a note from the
woman who raised him and named him. I think she is Scottish. Someday,
Coppy's going to take me to meet her.
Quidditch position: I don't play Quidditch. I like flying, but it really is a
rough sport, and I don't have that sort of competitive nature. My best
friend, Jane, is a Chaser, so I suppose that's my favorite position.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: My favorite is Professor Dumbledore. He is very kind and
very fair to everyone, and he arranged it so my brother Remus could come
to Hogwarts, even though everyone else said he would never be admitted.
Favorite Hogwarts student: Well, Jane Tweedy is my best friend. I am also good friends
with Kevin Grahame and Freddy Shrike.
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: I don't know. I generally try to get along with everyone.
My little brother has had some trouble with a Slytherin boy called
Severus Snape, though, and from what I've heard, I think he is not very
nice.
Best subject: Divination (everyone calls me the Divination Expert,
although I think they're confusing Divination with Observation and Muggle
Psychology), DADA, and Care of Magical Creatures (my parents' specialty)
Worst subject: My worst subject is potions. Oh, I'm all right, I
suppose, but I really wish I were good enough to discover a really important
potion, such as a werewolf cure.
Birthday: 9 March, 1956
A little about me: Oh... Well, let's see, my parents are Renard and Isolde
Lupin. They are magical creature experts, and have written a number of
books. We have travelled around for most of my life. I have a little
brother named Remus, who is 3 years younger than I am. What else should I
tell you? I am about average height, and slim, with brown hair and a
long nose. I look quite a bit like my father, who was in Ravenclaw, too.
After Hogwarts, I want to study magical creatures. And maybe have a
shelter for unwanted cats, where I could help them find good Wizard
homes.

Jane Elizabeth Tweedy ~
Wand: Crabapple and Phoenix Feather, 10 7/8", "has a nice little kick
to it"
Pet: A North American Eastern Screech Owl named Eglantine, a squat
little owl with ruddy feathers and tufts over her eyes. She likes to eat
bacon and pork chops and other things my Dad feeds her.
Quidditch position: I play Chaser for Ravenclaw! I never knew anything about
Quidditch before Hogwarts, but I love flying, and Ludo Bagman kept
nagging and nagging me to try out for my house team, so here I am.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: Professor McGonagall. She started as the new Transfiguration
teacher in my third year. Some of the others think she's too strict,
but that's only because they spend too much time fooling around in class
instead of paying attention. I think she's a very good teacher.
Favorite Hogwarts student: Well, I'm certain Ludo Bagman thinks I'll put his name here,
but he has another think coming! Irene Lupin is my best friend, so
I'll put her. Her little brother, Remus, is nice, too, but he's in
Gryffindor, so I don't know him that well.
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: LUDO BAGMAN! Ha ha ha, that will fix him! Irene is
shaking her head at me and smiling that annoying smile of hers when she
thinks she knows more than everyone else.
Best subject: Hm, probably charms, and transfiguration, although I
could be better at that. Anything where I get to use my wand. Oh, and
flying.
Worst subject: Herbology, ugh. My parents own a farm, but I grew up in
the city and don't know anything about grubbing around with plants.
Birthday: 30 August, 1956
A little about me: I am from York, where my parents, Willard and Melisha
Tweedy, own a photography shop. My Dad is a photographer, and I'm going to be
one, too, when I grow up, only I'm going to be a Magic photographer and take moving
pictures. My parents used to be egg farmers, but their chickens went all evil
and turned against them and escaped, so they moved to York. My mother's grandfather,
Orpheus Pryce, was a Squib - he was from a Wizard family, but had no magic powers.
The Pryces were a very proud old Wizard family, and I am trying to live up to
my heritage. Mum and Dad are very proud that I am a Witch.

Evelyn Glenn
Wand: Walnut and Dragon Heartstring--good for Transfiguration
Pet: Ural Owl named Strix
Quidditch position: Fan
Best subject: Potions
Worst subject: Herbology
Birthday: June 17th
A little about me: Can do athletics with her brain, views her cousin with mild,
sisterly scorn, introvert, best class is Potions, worst is Herbology,
an antisocial Geek. Could really care less about romance and dating at
the moment.
Looks: Small, husky, brown eyes, longish brown hair, very plain-looking except
for a small dimple in her right cheek, seen only on the rare occasions that she
smiles.

Jenni Nguoya
Wand: flexible willow, phoenix feathers
Pet: I have 2, because I couldn't decide what to pick! I have a wolf
pup named amaroq, who is VERY playful, and a kestrel named Wind, who is
probably going to spend all her time in the owlery or the roofs and
towers.
Quidditch position: I LOVE quidditch! I prefer being a seeker, but chaser isn't
too bad either.
Favorite Hogwarts adult: My favorite teacher is Prof.Brinklove
Favorite Hogwarts student: Sirius Black! well, sort of.
Least favorite person at Hogwarts: Severus Snape
Best subject: Flying (Quidditch) or Transfiguration
Worst subject: Arithimancy
Birthday: Jan. 12
A little about me: My name is Lian Nguoya, and I am 13. I am a good student, but
prefer Quidditch over studying all day. I am good at chess, was born in
Korea. I think that Slytherin is evil, because of He Who Must Not Be
Named, and because of all the tales I heard in the east. I have a
firebolt, and was sent here to learn magic, since the Nguoya Clan elders are
either dead, or too lazy to teach me magic. I am supposed to be a
perfect child, an old stereotype of the perfect asian girl, pouring tea etc.
But that's too boring, so I am a tomgirl.
