Friends
My entire social life is online, which is a little depressing ~ but hey, at least I have one! I've made many friends online, most through my animation website. However, I have only five close friends (which, actually, few people can claim!), and I cherish them. In the order I met them, they are:
Randi, my roomie. We've been friends since 1969. GAK! She's opposite me in every possible way, except that we both love animals and we're both honest. OK, she's more honest and I'm more blunt and tactless. But she's one of the best people I know. She'd have to be, to put up with me all these years.
Dana, aka Tian Ning. If I have a soulmate in this lifetime, it's Dana. The problem? She's female and married. Just my luck. But we've been best friends practically since we met over our mutual lust for Shan Yu. You can get to know her at her website. (She also has a Cowboy Bebop site in my links section.)
Zora. Almost 30 years and half a country separate us, yet for some reason I bonded almost instantly with her when we met. She's unique, and a fine artist. She's responsible for my passion for anime, since she's the one who introduced me to it, and she's broadened my horizons in many other ways. (Her Rurouni Kenshin site is in my links section.)
Gale, who is actually close to my age! We met thanks to an anime fandom, and we had so much in common, both in anime and in real life,, it was almost inevitable we'd be friends. Gale is also a fanfic writer, a good one, and we share that interest as well. She also critiiques my writing and helps keep me sane, and I am lucky to have her.
Sherrié, the designer of this cool layout. She's also 30 years and half a country away. She, too, has expanded my horizons, and my life would be much less interesting without her (not to mention this site!). And she's a talented fanfic writer, too - we've done some collaborative stories, which is cool. You can meet her at her website, Cherry-Skies.
